The Revd Philip Kissick appointed Rector of Tambo!
November 7th, 2018
It is with great pleasure that the Diocese announces the recent appointment of The Revd Philip Kissick as Rector of the Parish of Tambo! Philip comes to the Diocese with much experience in ministry. He was first ordained in the Uniting Church in 1984 where he worked in in a number of parishes and chaplaincies in Victoria and New Zealand for 15 years. In 1999, whilst an army chaplain, Philip was ordained in the Anglican Church within the Diocese of Wangaratta where he continued to serve in parishes in chaplaincies in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. David moves to the Tambo Parish with his wife Ruth who is a secondary Maths teacher. Ruth will be taking up a position at Nagle College in Bairnsdale. Philip and Ruth expect to move to Bruthen early in the year. Details for Philip’s induction will be forthcoming when the date is known. Congratulations to Philip on this appointment! We uphold Philip, Ruth and the Parish of Tambo in prayer as they prepare to embark on this new journey of ministry together.
