Myanmar Earthquake Emergency Appeal

April 4th, 2025

On Friday 28 March 2025, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck central Myanmar. The death toll has now risen to over 3,000 people, with more than 4,000 injured.

ABM AID is raising funds for emergency relief efforts in Mandalay and Taungoo.

Plans are underway to reach 1,000 affected people. A food pack consisting of rice, curry and one bottle of water will be provided to people who have been displaced.

Mosquito nets are also being provided to families who are staying out of their homes, sleeping on sidewalks and in open spaces in fear of another earthquake, or of buildings collapsing around them.

Funds will go to assist our partner, the Church of the Province of Myanmar, with their emergency response.
