ANZAC Day Commemoration from Gippsland Grammar
April 24th, 2020
On what will be a very different experience of ANZAC Day for many, we are grateful to Jackie Belot, Chaplain of Gippsland Grammar, for being able to share with you the ANZAC Day observance that the staff and students of the Garnsey Campus have recorded - Anzac Garnsey Chapel - Mobile Version (1) (1)(1).mov
We hope it is helpful as you commemorate this important day on our calendar, in solidarity with our trans-Tasman neighbours in Aotearoa/New Zealand, all Enlisted Service personnel and Reservists, and those families and communities where the cost of conflict is felt most acutely.
Lest we forget.
A Collect for ANAC Day (APBA):
O God, our ruler and guide, in whose hands are the destinies of this and every nation, we give you thanks for the freedoms we enjoy in this land and pray for those who laid down their lives to defend them: We pray that we and all the people of Australia, gratefully remembering their courage and their sacrifice, may have grace to live in a spirit of justice, of generosity, and of peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
