A ‘fire-side chat’ with The Revd Nikolai Blaskow
Nikolai is an Associate Priest of St Paul’s Cathedral Sale, an Honorary Police Chaplain, and Associate Chaplain at Gippsland Grammar where he is also head of the RAVE department (Religious and Values Education).
Following his preaching in the pre-recorded Eucharist for the Third Sunday after Pentecost, we recorded an interview with Nikolai in the Registry Office at Chapter House, as part of the ‘Getting to know you’ series.
Nikolai shares generously of his journey to faith and ministry, his childhood and his coming to Australia. His conversation with Bishop Richard ranges from Nikolai’s doctoral research into Nietzsche and other philosophers, the richness of Hebrew biblical narrative, Refugee Week and Reconciliation, and the lively spirituality of young people.
